ATTENTION: CHRISTMAS RETURN POLICY AMENDMENT
Any item that is received as a gift will be subject to the same return policy from date of receipt and not date of purchase. Returned items must have receipt of purchase in order to return. Gift Recipient must contact Factory Direct Purses prior to December 31, 2011 to arrange a return. Contact must be made via email for RMA needed for return of item. Item(s) returned will be replaced with an item of equal value or a store credit ONLY - NO CASH REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN - NO EXCEPTIONS. Customer will be responsible for shipping expenses for return and shipping of new item. Item(s) must be returned in a new and unused condition including all packing materials and hang tags. These policies are for items purchased as gifts beginning November 25, 2011 (Black Friday) forward. Items purchased prior to Black Friday will be subject to the standard return policies posted below.

RETURNS:
PLEASE EXAMINE YOUR PRODUCT UPON RECEIPT FOR ANY TYPE DAMAGES - ITEMS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR RETURNS BEYOND THE TIME FRAME ALLOWED!
If for ANY reason you are unhappy with your item received please notify customer service at (256) 247-0566 or factorydirectpurses@yahoo.com within 7 business days of receipt of package to obtain an RMA number and instructions for return. Follow instructions that you will receive via email and return your item for one of the following resolutions:
1. If the return is due to receipt of a damaged item we will replace the damaged item and ship to you at our expense. Item will be inspected and damage must not be the result of abuse or neglect. Return shipping will be reimbursed by our company upon receipt of return in the form of a store credit only. We do not issue prepaid labels nor cash credits for returns. NO exceptions to this policy. Please read information below for complete explanation on refunds for return postage.
2. If the return is due to fault of our company - wrong item sent, etc. - we will replace the item with the proper item and ship back to you at our expense. Return shipping will be reimbursed by our company upon receipt of return in the form of a store credit only. We do not issue prepaid labels nor cash credits for returns. NO exceptions to this policy.
3. If the return is due to your dissatisfaction of the received item then we will accept the item back for a store credit of the purchase price of the item only. No shipping will be refundable and a 25% restock fee will apply. NO CASH REFUNDS GIVEN ON RETURNS. The return shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer and Factory Direct Purses assumes no responsibility for shipping costs for these returns. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Exceptions to return policy – Monogrammed items. Any item that is personalized as instructed by customer is not returnable. NO EXCEPTIONS! Monogrammed orders can not be canceled after 24 hours of order placement. Any canceled monogrammed order is subject to a $20.00 service fee. Fonts and colors are shown on the website for choice of buyer. Please be aware that actual font and color once placed on item may differ from shown product. We do the best we can to provide an example, but actual produced monogram is sometimes deceiving. Requests for monogramming put in customer comment section without proper payment will not be honored. Item(s) will ship without personalization. Please choose font and color under “monogramming and personalization” located at the top of category column on left side of website and place instructions only in comment section. Some items (example: umbrellas) have limited font choices. A monogram choice must be made for each item to be personalized. Please read instructions carefully.
SPECIAL ORDERS - Items ordered in large quanties are not accepted for returns. Example: Weddings, Organizations or large meetings that require gifts or favors in large numbers. We do not accept returns for left over merchandise on any special ordered items.
All returned items MUST be received in a new and unused condition with ALL original packaging and wrapping. All hang tags MUST be intact or item will be returned. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY ITEM THAT HAS BEEN USED OR RETURNED IN A CONDITION THAT PREVENTS THE ITEM FROM RESTOCKING. We will not pay excessive shipping costs for Express, Overnight, or any method not recommended by our company.
ITEMS MUST NOT HAVE BEEN IN A SMOKING HOME - IF THEY ARRIVE WITH A SMOKE ODOR THEY WILL BE REFUSED AND RETURNED TO SENDER. NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS POLICY!
No RMA numbers will be issued for returns after the 7 business day time frame. PLEASE EXAMINE YOUR MERCHANDISE FOR DAMAGES UPON RECEIPT REGARDLESS OF DATE TO BE USED!!
Returns received by customers who have not followed instructions properly will not be processed and promptly returned to sender. ALL RETURN DOCUMENTS ARE NECESSARY FOR PROPER RETURN PROCESSING!
A 25% restock fee applies to all canceled orders and returns that are not fault of Factory Direct Purses.
Please allow up to 14 business days for receipt, processing and shipping of replacements.
All refunds are issued weekly in batches. All refunds will be issued at the close of business on Friday in order to avoid excess charges to the company. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED AFTER A 60 GRACE PERIOD. REFUNDS AFTER 60 DAYS MUST BE IN THE FORM OF A STORE CREDIT ONLY.
Refunds on shipping will be given in the form of actual cost of return and in the form of a store credit ONLY. We only support the use of flat rate shipping, UPS, FedEx or any other means of shipping on oversized or higher weigh items. Normal customary shipping will be refunded on average size packages.
This company does not support secondary package companies for return of items. Examples of these companies are: The UPS Store, The Mail Room, Pak-N-Ship, etc. These companies charge excessive fees for processing your packages and are not affiliated with any shipping company. They are private owned businesses who process and ship packages for customers. Factory Direct Purses and Accessories LLC will not be responsible for shipping expenses paid by customers who use these companies for returns. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Items marked clearance, reduced, close out or final markdown are sold as is and excluded from any exchange or return policies. No returns accepted for any reasons. NO EXCEPTIONS!
RESTOCK FEE APPLIES TO ALL CANCELED ORDERS THAT ARE CANCELED FOR ANY REASONS OTHER THAN LACK OF AVAILABILITY. ONCE THE ORDER IS ENTERED INTO OUR SYSTEM FOR PROCESSING A RESTOCK FEE APPLIES TO ALL CANCELED ORDERS OR ITEMS WITHIN AN ORDER OR CHANGES IN THE ORDER PLACED. NO EXCEPTIONS!
