It is for this reason that our return polices are not as liberal as some retail sites. In order to maintain our lower prices for EVERYONE to enjoy we ask that you please read our return policies and understand them prior to purchase. Checking the policy box and submitting order is your agreement to our policies.

RETURNS:
- If for ANY reason you are unhappy with your item received please notify customer service at (256) 247-0566 or factorydirectpurses@yahoo.com within 3 business days of receipt of package to obtain an RMA number and instructions for return. Follow instructions that you will receive via email and return your item for one of the following resolutions:
1. If the return is due to receipt of a damaged item we will replace the damaged item and ship to you at our expense. Item will be inspected and damage must not be the result of abuse or neglect. Return shipping will be reimbursed by our company upon receipt of return.
2. If the return is due to fault of our company - wrong item sent, etc. - we will replace the item with the proper item and ship back to you at our expense. Return shipping will be reimbursed by our company upon receipt of return.
3. If the return is due to your dissatisfaction of the received item then we will accept the item back for a store credit of the purchase price of the item only. No shipping will be refundable and a 25% restock fee will apply. NO CASH REFUNDS GIVEN ON RETURNS. The return shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer and Factory Direct Purses assumes no responsibility for shipping costs for these returns. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Exceptions to return policy – Monogrammed items. Any item that is personalized as instructed by customer is not returnable. NO EXCEPTIONS! Monogrammed orders can not be cancelled after 24 hours of order placement. Any cancelled monogrammed order is subject to a $20.00 service fee. Fonts and colors are shown on the website for choice of buyer. Please be aware that actual font and color once placed on item may differ from shown product. We do the best we can to provide an example, but actual produced monogram is sometimes deceiving. Requests for monogramming put in customer comment section without proper payment will not be honored. Item(s) will ship without personalization. Please choose font and color under “monogramming choices” located at the bottom of category column on left side of website and place instructions only in comment section. Some items (example: umbrellas) have limited font choices. A monogram choice must be made for each item to be personalized. Please read instructions carefully. Also, clothing including all hats. By Federal Health Guidelines we are obligated not to accept any clothing including hats for return. Please be sure of size prior to placing order.
All returned items MUST be received in a new and unused condition with ALL original packaging and wrapping. All hang tags MUST be intact or item will be returned. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY ITEM THAT HAS BEEN USED OR RETURNED IN A CONDITION THAT PREVENTS THE ITEM FROM RESTOCKING.
ITEMS MUST NOT HAVE BEEN IN A SMOKING HOME - IF THEY ARRIVE WITH A SMOKE ODOR THEY WILL BE REFUSED AND RETURNED TO SENDER. NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS POLICY!
No RMA numbers will be issued for returns after the 3 business day time frame.
Returns received by customers who have not followed instructions properly will not be processed and promptly returned to sender.
A 25% restock fee applies to all cancelled orders and returns that are not fault of Factory Direct Purses.
Please allow up to 14 business days for receipt, processing and shipping of replacements.
All refunds are issued weekly in batches. All refunds will be issued at the close of business on Friday in order to avoid excess charges to the company.
Refunds on shipping will be given in the form of actual cost of return. We only support the use of flat rate shipping, UPS, Fedex or any other means of shipping on oversized or higher weigh items. Normal customary shipping will be refunded on average size packages.
Items marked clearance, reduced, close out or final markdown are sold as is and excluded from any exchange or return policies. No returns accepted for any reasons.
SHIPPING:
- Orders are downloaded into our processing system at the close of business the day of order placement. Any order that is placed after close of business will download on the following business day. All Friday, Saturday and Sunday orders are considered weekend orders and will download at the close of business on Monday.
- Please allow up to 7 business days for orders to process and ship. Back ordered items could delay the shipping process and please be aware that Comely Handbags and accessories could add up to 7 business days to processing due to high risk sell out of items. It is possible for items to show in stock when inventory does not support the number. This is due to stock reduction on walk in sales, trade shows and wholesale customers. We also maintain a running stock on items available for shipping from supplier within a 24 hours time frame due to being sold out.
- All orders are filled in the exact order they are received. No customer is placed ahead of another. If the item you ordered is out of stock you will be notified within 10 business days via email and asked to choose a substitution or request a refund. Please check your spam often as business mail sometimes will fall into the spam folder automatically. We assume no responsibility for notifications left unopened in spam folders or deleted by email boxes due to being deemed as spam. Factory Direct Purses will issue a full refund for item ordered if unable to deliver product to you within a 30 day time frame. No questions asked. Any order cancelled prior to the time frame allowed for back ordered items to fill will be subject to a 25% cancellation fee.
- We do not hold a large order for a single item. We will ship your order to you and the unavailable item will ship when restocked at our expense.
- We ship via USPS Priority on all packages unless considered too heavy or oversized. All oversized packages are shipped via UPS ground service. We do not accept any responsibility for the number of days these companies take to deliver packages.
- You will receive a shipping confirmation once the item leaves our business. This will contain your shipping information - method of shipping and tracking number. The confirmation will be sent after close of business on the day item was shipped. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to be displayed on the shipping companies website. Tracking information is dependant on the shipping company (USPS or UPS) scanning the packages during transport and at all destination stops. Factory Direct Purses and Accessories does not control the shipping company or their employees once the item leaves our business. Therefore we can not control the tracking information that is put or not put into the system for viewing. Please notify shipping company with any reports of failure to enter proper data to the tracking number we provide.
- We do not ship Express unless requested by customer. Additional fees for Express shipping must be paid by customer prior to shipping.
- We do not blind drop ship. All items shipped to a different address than billing are shipped with invoice and return policies enclosed. Customer may opt for a gift invoice in the customer comment section. This invoice does not show price, but all ordering information and return information will be included.
- Items are shipped to the address provided under the “ship to” section of check out by the customer. Please make sure address provided is correct. We use automated label printing and address will print exactly as entered at check out. We assume no responsibility for packages that are lost or delivered incorrectly due to incorrect addresses. Nor do we accept responsibility for items delayed in shipping due to incorrect addresses entered by customer. Shipping costs to resend an item returned to our company due to a misquoted address will be the responsibility of the buyer prior to item being reshipped. Please check addresses and spelling carefully for mistakes prior to submitting orders!
- We happily ship to PO Boxes and APO/FFO Boxes without any additional charges.
- We offer International shipping. All International packages are shipped via USPS International Priority. Large packages are shipped via UPS International. Set shipping calculator will charge basic International shipping. It is possible that, depending on your location, you could have a separate shipping billing for International packages. International rates are higher and Factory Direct Purses will assume no cost of International shipping. We are not responsible for custom fees or any additional fee encountered from International packages. We do not ship items as “gifts” as this is against the law and not the policy of our company. All International packages are shipped with the value of item enclosed clearly displayed on custom forms. All International packages are charged a $5.00 service fee - added in the shipping costs - for the additional time taken to ship and number of forms required by customs to be completed prior to shipping from our company.
- Local pick up service is available for our customers who wish to pick up their items at Factory Direct Purses in Rogersville, Alabama. A service/handling fee of $4.00 applies to all local pick up. If you can not pick up your order at our location then you must pay shipping. If you choose local pick up and a separate transaction must be manually put into our system you are subject to a $3.00 service fee. This fee covers the charges we have for each transaction entered into our terminal. We pay for the first, but any second due to shipping charges will be the responsibility of the customer. No orders will be processed until shipping is paid on customers who are not local.
PAYMENT
· We accept VISA, MasterCard, and Discover – credit or debit cards. No checks, money orders or payments via mail are accepted.
· All transactions will process immediately upon submission of order through authorize.net. Please note that you may see a charge from our company prior to your shipping confirmation receipt. This does not mean we have got your money. The payment process goes as follows – authorize.net is a secondary credit card processing company that our company uses to process our payments (see secure shopping). We use this company for many reasons the number one reason is security for our customers on their personal information. Second is the highest grade of guarantee to our company against the ever increasing crime of credit card fraud. Upon entering your payment information, authorize will capture and hold your funds until we enter the shipping information into the system. Then and only then do they deposit the funds into our account. Your money is being held in trust with authorize.net until your package is guaranteed to be delivered. It may be showing to deduct, but the money is being held in trust and can be released back to your account within a few minutes if item is not available for shipping. Factory Direct Purses personally guarantees you that your idenity as well as your money is safe and very secure; you are guaranteed your money will be refunded if your package is not shipped to you due to item unavailability. Just as we are guaranteed payment upon shipping of package to customer – both parties in a transaction supervised by authorize.net are secure.
· Charge will show up as Factory Direct Purses on your credit card statement, bank debit card transaction or bank statements.
· All orders from Alabama must provide a copy of State Sales Tax Exempt License or be charged a 4% sales tax. See Wholesale Information for more details and instructions on tax exempt status. Orders within Lauderdale County, Alabama are subject to an additional 1.5% county tax that will bill separate due to tax calculator being preset to 4%.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
· You will receive an order notification upon placing orders and a shipping confirmation with tracking number upon item shipping from our company providing you choose register as a customer and receive email notifications.
· You must register as a customer of Factory Direct Purses upon placing orders to be able to check the status of orders online. If you are not a registered customer then no information is kept within our system concerning your order.
· You must choose to receive emails from Factory Direct Purses and provide a valid email address to receive any emails from this company. You will not receive any shipping or order confirmations without choosing to do so. Factory Direct Purses does not spam our customers. Spam mailings are against our TOS agreement with the Federal Trade Commission who regulates internet trading.
· The receipt of an email confirmation does not mean the acceptance of an order or a confirmation to sell. We reserve the right, without prior notification, to limit the quantity on any item, cancel an existing order and/or refuse service to any customer. Factory Direct Purses and Accessories does not discriminate due to race, gender or nationality. We are an equal opportunity employer and provider.
· We are bound by law to only discuss the order information and personal information on orders received with the person whose name appears on the account. We do not disclose any information to a secondary source. We take our customers privacy very seriously and do not bend this rule for anyone.
· We reserve the right to update our website at our own discretion and without prior notification to remove/add products of our choice subject to availability or service of suppliers. We do this to provide excellent choices, styles and service to our customers.
· The colors you see on the products are an approximation of the original colors and may vary with your monitor and/or video card. We are not responsible for errors or incomplete descriptions. We make every attempt to accurately describe the product and include up to date photographs. Product descriptions and colors may change without notice. We are not responsible for orders placed before price reductions. We reserve the right to substitute similar items if not instructed otherwise. We are not responsible for style changes by the makers or designers. SKU numbers on packages may differ from SKU numbers on invoice due to a sudden manufacturer change. This does not mean it is a different item as SKU numbers have nothing to do with the item ordered; it is the method of stocking an item ONLY.
· Please be responsible when ordering and check all descriptions for colors, measurements and anything that may influence your decision to purchase. We maintain lower prices by keeping down returned items. Please help our company service you again with less than retail prices by choosing your item carefully and responsible to avoid a possible return.
· Please measure all items that you wish to put into your purchase such as laptop cases. Just because you have a 17” laptop screen does not mean the case around your screen will fit into a 17” laptop case. Please be a responsible shopper.
